Being Human

Infinite in mind

yet confined

to a body

then a box.

What a paradox!

  1. Freakin’ awesome! So simple, but incredible! In such a short post. You are soon going to be having large traffic to your site as people discover your cleverness. When that happens, Don’t forget about little ol’ me. Your first fan!

You need to keep commenting on other’s sites so they get curious and mozy on over… to your realm of thoughts. (I still think that comment button might be an issue for you) You might want to make reference to the post comment at the end – or put something on your sidebar about having to hover over it?

    • I won’t forget you.

I felt fear when I read your comment, then I remembered this:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” — Marianne Williamson. ‘A Return to Love.’

Interestingly, I think it ties back to the paradox: infinite inspiration passing through a very limited channel like the self = fear. Maybe the self doesn’t exist, but the fear SEEMS real.

Thank you. Thank you very much.
